Case Study: Lane School of Music

Introduction

The Lane School of Music (previously, Upper Beaches Music School) based out of Toronto, Canada was looking for ways to improve their lead, sales, registration and payment processes. The music school has seen incredible growth over the last couple of years with over 500+ students and adding new offerings for different instruments and lessons.

 

Current State

Complicated Google spreadsheets were used to track the different teachers, lessons, leads, registrations along with manual payment processing. It was difficult to scale the existing processes especially when growing into other markets. The cost calculations had to be manually completed (partially through spreadsheet formula) and presented to the parents.

 

The Solution

Quantzify implemented Salesforce Sales Cloud to help manage and improve the different manual processes within the school. Using Leads, Accounts (Family), Contacts, Opportunities, Products and Quotes, the entire process was reduced to click of buttons and picklist dropdowns. The payments process for deposits and monthly schedules was automated using Stripe and Blackthorn.
